Gala Dinner – Wednesday at 19:00
Location: Otto Berndt Halle, Alexanderstraße 4, 64283 Darmstadt
This year’s Gala Dinner will take place in the Otto-Berndt-Halle. It is a multi-purpose building in Darmstadt. The building was originally built in 1792 as a drill hall for the infantry regiment on Alexanderstrasse. In 1925/1926, the Darmstadt architect Karl Roth converted it into a gymnasium and festival hall for the neighboring Technical University. For this purpose, Otto Berndt raised the necessary funds from private donors and industry.
The hall was largely destroyed in the air raids on Darmstadt during the Second World War in 1944. Only the outer walls and some internal load-bearing walls remained of the building. Under the planning of the architect Gerhard Bartels, the hall was rebuilt between 1950 and 1951 in the typical style of the early 1950s. Since then, the TU Darmstadt hall has served as a cafeteria and event room. The Otto Berndt Hall has been a listed building since 1986. You can look forward to a memorable event in a unique event location.
The Gala Dinner starts at 19:00. Doors will be open from 18:00. Only those participants with a valid registration will have access. Don’t forget your badge when you come to the Gala Dinner.
Networking Brewery Event – Thursday at 18:00

A small contribution of 30 € towards expenses is necessary for participation, but definitely worth it!
You can buy this ticket via your Registration Account or directly at the registration desk on-site. The number of tickets is limited!
About the Location:
In 1847, Wilhelm Rummel founded a restaurant with an attached brewery near the railway line and called it “zur Eisenbahn”.
In 1880 the production facilities reached their capacity limits. The move to the current location provided a solution. In the same year, the brewery bar, the “Braustüb'l”, also opened here. In 1912, Darmstadt Central Station was built in the immediate vicinity of the brewery. Inspired by the growing importance of the railway in people's lives, the locomotive (the “Rummel-Lok”) found its way into the brewery's logo as a symbol of dynamism, energy and movement.
Late registration is still possible at the conference.
All conference delegates are required to wear badges, which they will receive when they register. These badges will indicate the type of registration each delegate has.
